DEFINING CAREER MOMENT:
When I became Executive VP, I called my mentor who was retired and said, "I'm in your chair at your old desk; I made it like you said I would!"

MOST PROUD OF: Advancing from teller to Executive VP in the male bastion known as banking.

KEYS TO SUCCESS: Surround yourself with good people who excel in the areas where you are weakest; have a can-do attitude; find ways to positively solve poroblems; and delegate.

I WISH I HAD KNOWN YEARS AGO: How right my mother really was.

MENTORS: My parents who came to this country as immigrants with nothing in their pockets. In two years they became citizens and then my dadf started his own business.

BEST ADVICE RECEIVED: Start the day with a smile and do your best to keep it all day long.

HOW/WHY CHOSE FILED: I was a bank teller the summer between my junior and senior years of college. Even though I studied biology, chemistry, and English, banking was where I felt at home.

PASSION: My family; we are tight-knit and I love spending time with them. Also, travel, reading, friends, and good wine - not necessarily in that order.

FOR A LAUGH: I talk to my brother who gets me laughing quickly.
